The wind was blowing out Saturday at Grant Complex and the pitchers never had a chance.

McPherson College and Nebraska Wesleyan gave the scoreboard a workout in their split of a doubleheader.

Mac won the first game 19-17, but Nebraska Wesleyan rebounded for a 16-13 victory. The teams are playing a single game today at the former Light Capital Diamond, with first pitch at 1 p.m. to decide the series.

The first game set the tone. Mac led 12-5 early, but later went down 16-15. A four-run eighth rallied the Bulldogs.

The pinball numbers were led by Dylan Klava, who had two homers and eight RBIs.

Game 2 was just as offensively insane. Wesleyan led 9-0 early, but Mac got as close as 13-10.

Matt Bryan and Dylan Fontenot went yard for Mac. Fontenot had four RBIs.
