WICHITA -- The woman who is accused of supplying the guns used by Cedric Ford in his deadly rampage last week has been released on bail.

Sarah Hopkins, 28, of Newton was released from jail after her initial appearance in federal court in Wichita Monday afternoon after the judge set an unsecured bond at $10,000.

Hopkins was arrested Friday on U.S. District Court a charge of knowingly transferring a firearm to a convicted felon. Hopkins allegedly knew Ford was a convicted felon when she gave him Zastava Serbia, an AK-47 type assault rifle, and a Glock model 22 40-caliber handgun.

Ford had the two weapons on his person when he was shot and killed by a Hesston police officer to stop Ford's shooting spree.
