Mac netters lose to nationally ranked team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two nationally ranked NAIA men’s tennis powers met at a neutral site on Friday as No. 16 Cardinal Stritch University outlasted No. 11 McPherson College 7-2 in a dual match.

Mac started 1-2 in doubles, with Kurt Burton and Ahmed Lahlou winning at No. 3 for the Bulldogs.

Lahlou accounted for Mac’s only other point with victory at No. 2 singles.

Many of the matches were hotly contested as the final score wasn’t an indication of the closeness of the teams.
