Baseball Bulldogs swept by York

McPherson College’s baseball team opened KCAC play here Saturday at Grant Complex losing a pair of games to York College to fall to 9-9 overall on the season.

York won the first game, 7-4. A four-run third inning swung the game in the Panthers’ favor. 

All-KCAC preseason pick Kyle McDonald hit another homer for the Bulldogs and finished the game with two hits, as did Shon Pinard. Dylan Klava fanned six in six innings, but took the loss.

Another four-run inning in the second game propelled the Panthers, as they came away with a 10-3 triumph.

Klava had two hits to lead the Bulldogs. Colter Streck took the loss.

The teams are playing two more games today, this time at Light Capital Diamond with a 1:00 start.
