LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Central Christian College’s men’s basketball team gets another chance at a national tournament bid this week.

The Tigers, who just recently missed out on qualifying for the NAIA National Tournament, begin play in the NCCAA Regional Tournament on Thursday.

The Tigers, the No. 5 seed, play No. 4 seed Central Baptist in the 2 p.m. game. The winner gets No. 1-seed Southwestern Christian University in Friday’s 2 p.m. semifinals.

In the other half of the draw, No. 2 seed Colorado Christian takes on Ecclesia College at 6 p.m., followed by No. 3 Southwestern Assemblies of God against Crowley’s Ridge at 8 p.m.

Central Christian College is 18-12 on the season.
