New McPherson College volleyball coach Jessica Cleveland is making an immediate impact.

Cleveland announced her second signing on Monday since taking over recently and this is a big one.

Morgan Little of Las Vegas, who played two years for the high-powered Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons, has joined the Bulldogs. She is a 5-6 setter who is like a quarterback on the floor.

Little, who played for coach Pat Hall at HCC, starred off the court as well with a 4.0 grade point average, earning the school’s prestigious Presidential Award.

Little had a decorated high school career at Silverado High School in Las Vegas, earning All-Conference honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. She was the team’s MVP her junior year.

She was an academic whiz in high school as well, being named the school’s scholar-athlete for four years and winning a High Honors Diploma medallion her senior year.

She is the daughter of Steven and Melanie Little and will major in sports psychology and exercise physiology.
