WICHITA — McPherson College’s men’s tennis team had a chance to see how the big boys do it on Thursday.

The Bulldogs took on NCAA Division I Wichita State in a dual match, losing 7-0. Scoring is done differently at the NCAA level as even though the Shockers won all three doubles matches, they received only one point for winning at least two of three.

The Shockers also won the six singles matches. Still, it was good experience for the Bulldogs, who head out this week for a spring break trip that includes a series of matches, starting with a March 21 date with Rockhurst University.
