The Topeka Capital-Journal postseason basketball honors announced today were mostly in line with those by The Wichita Eagle.
McPherson High’s Drew Pyle was All-State All-Class first team and was picked to the Class 4A Division I first team. His brother Ben made third team and Spenser Wine was honorable mention.
MHS’ Taylor Robertson was third-team All-State All-Class and second-team Class 4A Division I. Teammate Mandi Cooks was honorable mention.
Elyria Christian School’s Rachel Adamyk was first-team Class 1A Division II, while the Eagles’ Tyler Thiessen made honorable mention for the boys.
Hesston’s Cami Richardson was picked to the Class 3A first team and Kailey Jo Ince was honorable mention. Scott Duerksen made the second team for the boys and Zach Esau was honorable mention.
Moundridge’s Ashley Holler was picked second-team Class 2A, with Peri Lange earning honorable mention. For the MHS boys, Anthony Otte and Noah Eichelberger were honorable mention.
Other honorable mention picks were Cassidy Enns of Canton-Galva (2A), Travis Unruh of Canton-Galva (2A), Nick Reinert of Smoky Valley (4A), Keaton Case of Inman (2A) and Naomi Williams of Inman (2A).
