SALINA — Arch-rivals Bethany College and Kansas Wesleyan hooked up in a softball doubleheader on Wednesday, with nothing settled.
Bethany managed only two hits in Game 1, losing a 3-1 decision. Anna Crawford homered for the only Bethany run. Jasmine Stewart took the loss.
Bethany won the second game 5-4 after leading 4-0 early. Kristen Crawford hit a solo homer to start things and Alyssa Montoya later hit a three-run blast.
Tiffany Dennison was the winner.
Bethany is 10-18 on the season and the twinbill was the first KCAC action of the year. It plays Saturday at Bethel.
