Baseball Tigers swept by Bobcats

College of the Ozarks completed a four-game baseball sweep of Central Christian College here Saturday.

The Tigers got off to a good start with a 3-0 lead in Game 1, only to see the Bobcats score four runs in the fourth and six in the sixth.

Central was held to four hits, two by Graham Greenbeck. Bryan Scott took the loss.

The Tigers missed out on a great chance to salvage the finale, but Ozarks scored two runs in the top of the seventh for a 6-5 victory on a two-run homer by Dylan Heitz.

Caleb Gorman had a big game for the Tigers by going 3 for 4 with two RBIs. Greenbeck had two more hits, along with Shomari Cann. Doug Gove took the loss.

Central is now 14-23 on the season. It plays a single road game on Tuesday at Salina against Kansas Wesleyan.
