LINDSBORG — Football is in the air at Bethany College.
The Swedes will conduct their spring football game tonight at Anderson Stadium. Admission for the 7 p.m. event is free, however a tailgate party will be held outside the stadium starting at 5:30 with a $7.50 charge.
Second-year Bethany coach Paul Hubbard has now had a full year under his belt. He reportedly is working with nearly 70 players, nearly 20 of them being midseason transfers to provide immediate help.
The Swedes were 3-8 last season. Hubbard reportedly is expecting a squad size of more than 100 by the time the team comes back in the fall.
