Softball Bulldogs lose two

McPherson College’s softball team fell twice on Saturday at Wall Park to Ottawa, 8-0 and 6-5.

The Bulldogs were held to two hits in the first game, one by Shelby Maycumber and the other by Azaria Romero.

They were better in the second game, even leading 5-4 at one point before the Braves scored the final four runs of the game.

Emily Davis had two hits for the Bulldogs. Brittany Childs and Erica Almaraz drove in two runs apiece.

The Bulldogs are now 1-5 in the KCAC and 6-28 overall. They play road two games against Bethel College on Wednesday
