On the heels of signing Hesston All-Stater Cami Richardson last week, McPherson College women’s basketball coach Gordon Reimer has announced that three more players have joined the Bulldogs.

Here’s thumbnail sketches of the newest members:

• Isabella Bacon — Bacon is a 5-8 guard from Sapulpa, Okla.

She averaged 8 points a game in high school and was named to the All-Region team. She is a member of the National Honor Society and plans to major in biology.

• Danielle Holt — Reimer is counting on the 6-0 Holt to provide some size inside.

She attends Glenpool High School in Glenpool, Okla. She averaged 8 points and 7.5 rebounds her senior year and blocked 18 shots. After her junior year, she was selected to the All-Area Team. This past season she was an All-Conference selection.

She will major in education.

• Brooke Zimmerman — The 6-0 forward will be transferring to Mac from Western Nebraska Community College, where she played for two seasons.

Zimmerman prepped at Smoky Hill High School in Aurora, Colo. She lettered four years there, averaging 8 points and a whopping 10 rebounds a game. She was a four-time All-Conference selection.

Zimmerman will be a biology-pre physical therapy major.

Reimer said he already has signed 13 players for next year and more will be released later.
