OKLAHOMA CITY — It was a split for Central Christian College’s baseball team on Friday against Mid-America Christian University.

The Tigers had a solid first game, rolling to a 7-3 victory behind solid pitching of Bryan Scott and an 11-hit offensive attack. Scott scattered eight hits to pick up the win and fanned five while walking only two.

Zane Howard pounded two homers to lead CCC. He had three hits and four RBIs. Kenny Cordova added two hits.

It was a wild Game 2 as the Tigers were down 10-1, but scored four times in the sixth and five times in the seventh to tie the game at 10. But Mid-America gathered itself to push across the winning run in the bottom of the seventh for the 11-10 victory.

Howard had three more hits to lead CCC, while Cordova was 2 for 4 with three RBIs. Graham Greenbeck added two hits and Kelby Landon drove in two runs.
