OKLAHOMA CITY — Central Christian College’s baseball team may as well have headed home after Friday’s doubleheader with Mid-America Christian.

Its bats apparently did.

The Tigers were held without a hit by Mid-America’s Junior Obeso on Saturday and his only blemish in the 13-0 victory was CCC’s Kenny Cordova reaching base by an error, only to be erased in a doubleplay.

Mid-America wound up taking two of three in the series as the Tigers are now 18-29 on the year. The game basically was over after two innings as Mid-America led 11-0.

Central hosts Bethany College in a single game on Tuesday at Light Capital Diamond, with first pitch at 6 p.m. The Swedes won the first meeting of the season in Lindsborg, 9-8.

Central (0) — Gorman 1-0-0-0, Patterson 3-0-0-0, Greenbeck 3-0-0-0, Howard 3-0-0-0, Landon 1-0-0-0, Carrigan 2-0-0-0, Cordova 3-0-0-0, Lumley 1-0-0-0, Cann 2-0-0-0, Cramer 2-0-0-0.
