WINFIELD — McPherson College’s softball team came up with another split on Tuesday, this time against Southwestern.

The Mac women were a 5-3 winner in the first game behind the pitching of Sydney Lang. The Bulldogs had to rally for the win as they were behind 3-0 early.

Seven different Bulldogs had one hit, the only extra-base knock a double by Katie Holmes.

The Bulldogs were in prime position to come up with the sweep, but the Moundbuilders shocked Mac with four runs in the bottom of the seventh for the walk-off 9-8 victory.
