Mac women add 4 more

McPherson College women’s basketball coach Gordon Reimer continues to stockpile depth for his program as the Bulldogs are hoping to improve on this year’s fifth-place KCAC finish.

Four more players have signed letters of intent. The newest Bulldogs are Elle Gillen, Meagan Moore, Darian Orndorff and McKenzie Stainaker.

• Elle Gillen — She is a 5-7 guard from Castle View High School in Colorado.

She averaged 5.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists her senior season. She shot 75 percent from the line and was team captain and MVP.

She was a two-time Academic All-State selection and plans to major in biology.

• Meagan Moore — The 5-7 Moore comes to Mac from Arlington, Texas, where she played at Mansfield Legacy High School.

She averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 rebounds a game her senior year. She has not decided on a major.

• Darian Orndorff — Orndorff will give the Bulldogs some size as she’s a 5-11 post player.

She played as S & S Consolidated High School in Whitesboro, Texas. She was a member of FFA, Spanish Club and the Book Club.

She will major in physical therapy.

• McKenzie Stainaker — A 5-8 guard from Chickasha, Okla., Stainaker prepped at Chickasha High School.

She was a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society.

She was major in secondary education.
