Oklahoma Wesleyan’s softball team, in the fight for the KCAC championship, stifled McPherson College twice on Saturday.

The Eagles were a 4-0 winner in Game 1. The Bulldogs were held to two hits, one by Katie Holmes and the other by Brittany Childs.

The second game was close until the Eagles scored eight times in the fourth, the difference in a 10-2 outcome. Azaria Romero’s double was Mac’s only extra-base knock.

Mac is now 3-13 in the KCAC and 8-34 overall. The Bulldogs play Wednesday at red-hot Bethany.
