According to today’s Lawrence Journal-World, Kansas basketball coach Bill Self already has offered scholarships to the Bishop Miege duo of Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Bol Bol.
Both players were instrumental in leading the Stags to a fourth-quarter rally against McPherson High in the championship game of the Class 4A Division I State Tournament last month. Robinson-Earl finished the game, a 69-59 Stags victory, with 16 points and Bol scored 14.
Robinson-Earl is a 6-8 freshman forward who is the son of former KU player Lester Earl. Bol is a 6-11 sophomore whose father, the late NBA star Manute Bol, was 7-6.
Robinson-Earl and Bol will be in the Roundhouse in December as Miege is on the Bullpups’ regular-season basketball schedule for 2016-17.
