BENNINGTON — Solid pitching and near-airtight defense propelled Inman’s baseball team to a pair of victories over Bennington on Thursday.

Noah Tuscan was nails in the first game, tossing a five-hitter in a 5-2 Teuton success. The Teutons had seven hits, all singles, and they made only two errors.

Three sixth-inning runs was the difference in Game 2 as the Teutons were a 6-3 winner. Kane Thimmesch threw into the fourth, with Walker Strange wrapping things up. Thimmesch had a double for the big Inman hit and the Teutons made only one error.
