Baseball Eagles swept by Redskins

GALVA — State-ranked Little River scored 32 runs in two games on Friday to deal Canton-Galva a pair of baseball losses.

Little River won the first game 17-6 despite a big game from C-G’s Hunter Pearson. He had a triple and single, good for two RBIs. Reed Wiens also had two hits. Ethan Loyd took the loss.

It was all Little River in Game 2, 15-0. The Eagles were held hitless. Wiens took the loss.

C-G plays Tuesday at Ell-Saline.
