INMAN — It’s been a busy couple of days for the Inman baseball team as it played four games.

The week began on Monday with a pair of losses to powerhouse Sedgwick.

The Cardinals won the first game 8-0 as the Teutons were held to five singles.

Sedgwick pounded out a 16-3 triumph in Game 2 as the Cardinals roped seven doubles in the contest and had innings of six and five runs.

On Tuesday, Inman came away with a split against Ell-Saline.

Game 1 went the Teutons’ way, 9-4. Noah Tuscan did some dealing on the mound to pick up the win. Zach Spiece clubbed a couple of doubles and Tuscan helped his own cause with a double. Inman took command of the game early with four first-inning runs.

Ell-Saline gained the split as its seven-run seventh inning broke open the game, a 14-5 Cardinal victory.

The Teutons had nine hits, all singles.
