Lady Tigers finish softball season

LANGSTON, Okla. — Central Christian College’s softball team wrapped up its regular season recently losing a pair of games to Langston University.

Central jumped out to a 2-0 lead in Game 1, but the Lions matched that in the bottom of the inning, then scored four times in the third and added three runs in the fifth to pace an 11-3 triumph.

Seven Lady Tigers had one hit each.

The Lions were a 9-4 winner in Game 2. Kasi Kraus had a nice game in defeat by going 2 for 3 at the plate, while Cristina Insua homered. Langston scored in each of the six innings.

Central finished the season with a 12-33 record.
