How would you like to win $500? Friday is the official start of the All Schools Day button hunt! A new clue will be added every day up until next Thursday, May 12, or until the button is found.

The daily clue will be aired on MidKansas Radio 96.7 throughout the day, so be sure and keep listening! The daily clues will also be posted on the All Schools Day website at

Button hunters will need a $5 license in order to participate. Licenses can be purchased at the McPherson Chamber of Commerce; the McPherson Sentinel; Emprise Bank; or First Bank Kansas in McPherson.

Button hunters will also need an All Schools Day button in order to participate in the button hunt and the opportunity to win the $500 cash prize.

The button is hidden somewhere in McPherson County, but it is not on the grounds of any museum or college campus, and no tools will be needed to find it. No digging! Hunters are responsible for any damage they may cause.

The button will also be accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

If no one finds the button, a $250 prize will be awarded to a winner selected randomly from a drawing that includes all of those who purchased a license.

The button hunt is sponsored by Superior Automotive & Transmission in McPherson. For more information on the button hunt, visit the All Schools Day website at
