INMAN — Mother Nature forced Inman’s baseball team to play on back-to-back days this week.

The Teutons were matched against Marion on Monday. The teams were able to get in only one game because bad weather intervened, with the Warriors taking a 5-0 decision.

Inman was held to three hits. Marion had a couple of two-run innings to spark the win. The Warriors succeeded despite managing just four hits off two Inman pitchers.

The Teutons then played Tuesday at Sedgwick, which has been rolling as of late.

The Cardinals were a 12-2 victor in the opener, scoring six runs in the second inning. The Teutons again had trouble at the plate as they were held to three singles.

An eight-run second inning keyed a 16-2 second-game triumph and sweep for the Cardinals. Again the Teutons could not come up with any extra-base hits, as they had five singles.
