Blazing 54 wins TC senior scramble

As it’s getting closer to summer, the number of seniors playing in the weekly Turkey Creek scramble continues to swell.

Fifty-three took part today, with a 16-under-par 54 being the winning score. Team members were Rick Anderson, Mike Peters, Bill Goering and Rich Benson.

Second with a 58 was the team of Don James, Denis Everhart, Royce Anderson and Paul Schultz.

In the other flight, two teams shot 63. Winning the tie-breaker was the team of Gary Shaft, Jim Griggs, Les Hargadine and Ken Stafford. Second went to Sam Ulsaker, Willie Johnson, Bill Gately and Alan Kulbeth.

Gary Holloway made the longest putt on No. 12.
