The McPherson Public Library will be hosting a Medicaid program at 10:00 this Thursday morning in the library’s meeting room.

Cindy Proett with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment – Division of Health Finance, will speak on eligibility requirements, what Medicaid does and does not cover, how and where to sign up, and common myths about Medicaid.

The program is free and open to the public. For more information, email the library [email protected], or give them a call at 620-245-2570.

The Medicaid Information session will begin 10:00 Thursday morning at the McPherson Public Library which is located at 214 W. Marlin, across from the McPherson County Courthouse.

As a reminder, the library’s back parking lot is still closed for the Maple street construction. There is plenty of parking in front of the library on Marlin and Walnut streets.
