WICHITA — The KCAC has a new logo.
The announcement and revealing of the new logo was made today by the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.
The new logo was designed by Mary Hetherington, a Friends University alum, giving the KCAC a new look for the first time in seven years. The conference recently increased to 12 institutions when it added Oklahoma Wesleyan University and York College and the 10 stars from the previous logo have been removed. The KCAC letters from the previous conference logo remain very prominent in the new logo as does the 1890 year recognition of the conference's inception.
"I am very appreciative of our membership supporting the conference to move forward with this new logo after expanding to 12 member institutions," KCAC Commissioner Dr. Scott Crawford said. "Our new logo maintains legacy features from our previous logo while allowing member schools to do more with co-branding including the placement of the conference logo on game uniforms and social media graphics."
