LINDSBORG — With the start of school a little more than a month away, Bethany College is in the market for a new head women’s basketball coach.
According to the school’s website, Brett Morehouse has resigned to take a job closer to family in Montana.
Morehouse exits the Swedes after going 18-71 in his three seasons, 11-45 in the KCAC. Bethany showed improvement this past season by finishing 10-19.
“We are confident that with the current state of the women's basketball program we will be able to select a high-quality head coach," Athletic Director Dane Pavlovich said. "I would like to thank Brett Morehouse for his three years of service to Bethany College and during our search process I am confident in Tony Nakashima's ability to move our program forward."
Nakashima is the current assistant coach.
