According to The Kansas City Star, the Kansas City Chiefs have made a strong move to provide quarterback Alex Smith some help.

The Star reports that Nick Foles, who has been a starting quarterback with the Philadelphia Eagles and St. Louis Rams, agreed to terms with the Chiefs.

Kansas City lost backup Chase Daniel during the offseason. They also have Tyler Bray and Aaron Murray as contenders for the No. 2 spot.

Kansas City coach Andy Reid drafted Foles in the third round when he was at Philadelphia.
