Bulldogs' Torres, Minney make All-KCAC preseason men's soccer team

McPherson College is represented on the All-KCAC preseason men’s soccer team by two players.

McPherson High product Nick Torres, entering his final year as a Bulldog, and Tyler Minney, who hails from the United Kingdom, made the team that was announced today.

Bethany College was represented by Jose Sanchez.

Seven players from KCAC defending champion Oklahoma Wesleyan made the team, including last year’s MVP Perica Obrandovic and Caio Ruiz, who was last year’s KCAC Newcomer of the Year.

Five of the players, all with Oklahoma Wesleyan, hail from Serbia. Ten of the 15 players are from outside the United States as KCAC soccer has gone global.

• Bethany — Jose Sanchez.

• Friends — Huge Chiaradia.

• Kansas Wesleyan — Cameron Meeker, Evan Williams and Jessie Lennon.

• McPherson College — Nick Torres and Tyler Minney.

• Oklahoma Wesleyan — Alexander Simovic, Perica Obradovic, Caio Riz, Francisco Machado, Stephan Millcevic, Luke Stojanovic and Luka Milicevic.

• Ottawa — Ross Anderson, Sheldon Hayes and Edward Maya.

• Tabor — Bransyn Felty.

• Saint Mary — Brandon Sanchez.
