Water Fights, Movies, and More Happening in Lindsborg

LINDSBORG, KANSAS - Bring the family, bring your lawn chairs! "Movie on Main" returns with a family friendly film, "The Incredibles" August 19th at 8:30 p.m. Set up in the parking lot south of USD #400 on Main Street, enjoy a beautiful summer night while experiencing the retro era of the drive-in theatre. Sponsored by the Lindsborg Community Hospital.

The third annual Water Fight has been rescheduled for August 20th! The Lindsborg Fire Department will be there adding to the fun, along with a giant refill tank! The fun begins at 5:00 p.m.in Swensson Park, located in the 400 block of N. Main Street. Dry zones are provided for those who don't want to get wet. Hot dogs and drinks will be available for purchase from the Boy Scouts.

A Backyard BBQ Competition begins at 8:00 a.m. August 27th in the 100 block of E. Lincoln Street. to help fund Smoky Valley After Prom Party. The Frisbee Feed with pulled pork sandwiches, beans and chips begins at 6:00 p.m. $7 per plate.

Following the Frisbee Feed, get ready to be Midasized! King Midas will rock Lindsborg once again beginning at 8:00 p.m. Bring your lawn chair and your dancing shoes. The best rock and roll band in Kansas, playing hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s will be tearing it up through the night until 11:00 p.m. The dance will be held on the 100 block of N. Main Street!
