New McPherson College volleyball coach Jessica Cleveland wants her team to enjoy a full life experience.

It’s more than just practicing and playing. Cleveland wants her team to be a part of the community, including fundraising events.

“Fundraising helps to enhance our players’ experience by covering team bonding events, community service activities and traveling expenses,” Cleveland said. “For example, this year, the McPherson College volleyball team will mentor McPherson Middle School volleyball players, help with their practices and attend games. We are also trying to raise money to purchase a volleyball net system to put in the small gym.”

Cleveland also is starting the “Attack Pack,” the team’s booster club. There are three levels, including the Bronze, Silver and Gold, that are available for a fee.

“The benefits of joining the Attack Pack include game program recognition, newsletter updates, T-shirts, family season tickets and more,” Cleveland said. “If you are not able to make it to a home game, you can watch online by visiting and clicking on “Schedule.”
