Inman sweeps C-G triangular

CANTON — Inman’s Teutons emerged as the best of the best during a triangular volleyball match hosted Tuesday by Canton-Galva, which was the Eagles’ season opener.

Inman is now 6-1 on the young season. It defeated Canton-Galva in three sets (24-26, 25-19, 25-14) in the highlight match of the night.

Both schools defeated Centre. The Eagles needed three sets for a 25-19, 21-25, 26-24 victory, while the Teutons polished off Centre in two, 25-15, 25-20.

Canton-Galva hosts Herington and Solomon on Tuesday for a triangular, while Inman host Sterling and Chaparral on the same day.
