HALSTEAD — The Hesston Swathers may be the best 0-2 football team around.

The Swathers are still searching for that first victory after losing 34-30 on Saturday to Halstead in a game postponed from Friday.

Tony Morris’ 75-yard TD sprint in the fourth quarter rallied the Dragons after Hesston had taken a 24-22 lead into the period.

Parker Roth and Zach Esau scored on TD runs, while Esau hooked up with Reese Nebel and Zach Vogt for TD passes.

Both Hesston losses have been by less than seven points. The Swathers finally make their home debut on Friday against Larned, which was edged 19-12 by Smoky Valley on Friday after leading 12-6 after three quarters.
