HALSTEAD — What a glorious 24 hours it was for the Smoky Valley volleyball team.
Coming off two wins on Monday, the Vikings were right back at it on Tuesday and added two more victories to their total for a 4-0 week.
Against Larned, the Vikings were dominant in a 25-16, 25-15 rout. Kate Deterding was throwing down the hammer with 12 kills, Haley Peterson had 4 blocks, Rilee Carson had 12 digs and Delaney Johnson was credited with 23 assists.
Smoky Valley showed no signs of fatigue as it dominated Halstead, 25-14, 25-9. Deterding and Peterson had 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Deterding also came up with 9 digs and Johnson furnished 18 assists.
The Vikings get some much-needed rest as they are off until Tuesday when they play at Kingman.
