There’s no change in the Top 3 volleyball teams in Class 4A Division I, according to rankings released today by the Kansas Volleyball Association.
Abilene, Miege and McPherson High are still 1-2-3. Rounding out the Top 5 are DeSoto and Andale, which lost to the Bullpups on Tuesday.
MHS has won nine matches in a row and is 10-2 on the season.
Rounding out the Top 10 are El Dorado at No. 6, followed by Ulysses, Rose Hill, Louisburg and Andover Central.
Smoky Valley remains at No. 10 in Class 4A Division II. The Vikings have won four matches in the last two days. Topeka Hayden is No. 1 and the Vikings’ Central Kansas League rival Kingman is at No. 2.
Despite losing its first two matches last week, Hesston dropped only one spot in Class 3A to No. 3, trailing Cheney and Silver Lake.
Inman climbed two spots this week to No. 6 in Class 2A. The Teutons are 14-2 after Tuesday’s split at Hutchinson. Central Plains is the top team at 8-0.
