Central Christian College’s women’s soccer team kept KCAC member York College still in search of its first win as the Tigers rolled to a 3-0 victory here Monday.

The game belong to the Tigers’ Kaitlyn Bevel, as she scored a pair of goals. Isabel Sierra had the other.

CCC led 1-0 at the half.

Central dominated the action with a whopping 31-7 advantage in shots. Goldie Bougher and Morgan Phillips combined on the shutout as the Tigers are now 4-3 on the season.

"Kaitlyn Bevel did great to show composure for both of her goals today and Isabel Sierra continues to be a constant threat,” CCC coach Scott Fogarty said. “Likewise, Rachel Meier continues to grow in her role in attack. We've now pitched two shutouts in a row and I am very pleased with that. We started the season with a new backline and I am happy with the progress we've made. Shannon Huesca, especially, has stepped in and been our most consistent defender as a freshman. We've got more depth in the back this year and I expect us to continue being stingy on defense."

Central remains at home on Wednesday to play Sterling College.
