MARION — Inman’s Nicholas Martisko continues to pace the Teutons’ cross country team, which competed along with Canton-Galva in Tuesday’s Marion Invitational.

Martisko was an outstanding fifth on a day where Inman didn’t have a full team due to illness.

Inman coach Jay Parsons said the hot weather made it a difficult day as it was the first blazing day the team has competed in. It didn’t help that Marion has one of the toughest courses to run.

C-G’s Cash Toews cracked the Top 20 by taking 19th in the boys varsity race.
