MHS spikers ranked No. 3

McPherson High’s volleyball team, winner of 11 straight matches and 12 of 14 overall, remains at No. 3 in the Kansas Volleyball Association rankings released in the last hour.

Abilene remains at No. 1 in Class 4A Division I, but DeSoto moved up from No. 4 to No. 2 to replace Miege, which totally dropped out this week.

MHS is No. 3, with Rose Hill moving up four spots to No. 4. Andale completes the Top 5.

Ulysses is No. 6, with the rest of the Top 10 including El Dorado, Louisburg, Andover Central and Kansas City Piper.

Hesston is No. 4 in Class 3A this week, down one spot. Ahead of the Swathers are Silver Lake, Cheney and Thomas More Prep.

Inman went down two spots this week in Class 2A to No. 8. Undefeated Central Plains remains in the top spot.

Smoky Valley is still ranked in Class 4A Division II as it once again checks in at No. 10. Hayden is still the leader.
