WICHITA — It’s been a tough week so far for McPherson College’s volleyball team.

After losing to high-powered Tabor on Monday, the Bulldogs encountered another of the KCAC’s upper-echelon teams on Wednesday, losing in straight sets to Friends.

The Falcons were steady in 25-20, 25-18, 25-20 straight-sets victories.

Mac is now at .500 in the KCAC at 3-3 and dropped to 9-5 overall.

It was another strong effort by Jocelyn Cochran, who had 9 kills, 13 digs and 4 aces. Kaitlyn Heinis had 17 assists, while Emily Warner had 12 digs.

It doesn’t get any easier on Saturday for Mac when it plays the KCAC leader Ottawa on the Braves’ home court. Match time is 5 p.m.
