The Tigers had opened with Kentucky Christian University and fell in straight sets 16-25, 23-25, 17-25. Kraus had 9 kills and Marissa Hemberry had 16 digs.

"We couldn't quite get things rolling against KCU, but found a way to turn it around and get a win against FISK. Proud of the girls and their hard work,” CCC coach Sarah Rhodes said.

The Tigers are now 4-10 on the season. They will finish up today with matches against Haskell Indian Nations University at 2:00 and then Evangel University at 4:00.
