ELBING — Inman’s boys received medal-earning performances on Thursday from Nicholas Martisko and Tobias Belknap in the Berean Invitational cross country meet.
Martisko continues to pace the Teutons as he finished ninth, while Belknap was 16th. They helped Inman to a fifth-place finish.
“There were a lot of good runners at this meet,” Inman coach Jay Parsons said. “If I look at place, I wasn’t sure how well each of them ran. However, once I look at their times I can honestly say they ran very well. I think all the runners will have more and can continue to improve their times. The goal isn’t to peak quite yet, but each runner needs to show what he or she is capable of as the season draws to a close.”
Tia Cole medaled in the JV race for the Inman girls by taking ninth. The Teuton girls did not run in the varsity meet.
