Tiger spikers drop two matches

SALINA — Central Christian College’s volleyball team lost a pair of matches on Saturday to KCAC opposition.

The Tigers took Sterling to four sets. The Warriors wound up with a 25-14, 18-25, 25-14, 25-12 success.

Kasi Kraus was the kill leader with 12. Hannah Crandall and Marissa Hemberry had 17 and 11 assists, respectively, while Desiree Padilla recorded 11 digs, one more than Rhylee Richardson.

KCAC power Kansas Wesleyan then took out the Tigers in three, 25-22, 25-15, 25-17.

Kraus had another good match with 15 kills, Crandall led in assists with 18 and Padilla hustled to 20 digs.

Central fell to 5-15 on the season. It is home on Thursday to take on Union College.
