WAKEFIELD — Canton-Galva’s volleyball team pounded out a pair of victories on Tuesday.
The Eagles handled Wakefield (25-18, 25-17) and Centre (25-17, 28-26).
Senior Emily Ballantyne led the way with 16 kills and freshman Emma Ruddle stepped up big with 14. Junior Ashley Nightingale served up 8 aces and senior Autumn Colgin had 4. Both missed only one serve on the night.
“We ended our league play on a positive note tonight with two wins,” C-G coach Kaitlyn Bressie said. “For the most part we have played really well our last several matches. We are starting to put things together and this is the right time to be doing that. I'm excited to move into our league tournament and postseason playing the kind of volleyball we are playing right now."
