STERLING — Inman High’s cross country team ran like the wind that blew on Thursday at the Sterling Invitational, coming away with three medals.
Nicholas Martisko in the boys varsity race, Aisjha Miles in the girls varsity race and Tia Cole in the JV girls race all brought home the hardware.
Miles medaled despite slipping and falling during the race, yet still ran a PR and set a school record in 22:37.31.
Inman coach Jay Parsons said he was extremely pleased with his team as it turned in several PRs despite the tough conditions. Inman will be hosting the HOA meet on Thursday.
