CCC spikers pitch shutout

Central Christian College’s volleyball team needed the minimum three sets here Thursday to sweep Baptist Bible College.

The Tigers improved to 7-17 after 25-18, 25-16, 25-23 successes.

Hannah Crandall was superb with 25 assists and 17 digs, both team highs. Kasi Kraus led in kills with 9, while Desiree Padilla came up with 14 more digs.

“It felt good to get a win tonight,” CCC coach Sarah Rhodes said. “Very proud of the girls and their effort.”

Central heads to Oklahoma City on Saturday to take on Southwestern Christian and Randall University.
