The public is invited to a free grassroots Expand KanCare Community forum this Wednesday, October 26, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the McPherson Museum.
KanCare is the program that administers Medicaid for the state of Kansas.
The forum Wednesday night will include speakers and groups sharing how the McPherson community would be impacted by a KanCare expansion, which advocates say would help to fill the health coverage gap into which over 150,000 Kansans currently fall, with few options available to them for affordable health coverage.
The McPherson Museum is located at 1111 E. Kansas Ave in McPherson.
