Tiger spikers outlasted

MANHATTAN — Central Christian College’s volleyball team was outlasted in a thrilling five-setter on Thursday by Manhattan Christian College.

It looked like a CCC blowout early as the Tigers won the first two sets, 25-18, 25-20.

But it was all Thunder from there as they won the final three sets (25-23, 25-19, 15-9).

Kasi Kraus (18), Kacie Platt (14) and Hannah Crandall (10) were all in double digits for kills. Crandall was had a tremendous 38 assists, while Desiree Padilla hustled to 35 digs.

CCC is now 8-21 on the season. It plays Saturday in Concordia, Neb.
