Redskins' season comes to an end

COLDWATER — Little River’s football season ended in the first round of the 8-Man Division I playoffs on Tuesday against South Central.

The Redskins were down only 14-6 after a quarter, but South Central erupted for 20 second-quarter points to key a 54-28 victory.

The loss ended Little River’s season at 4-6.

The Redskins had 157 yards on the ground, 53 apiece by Clay Zeller and Peyton Harvey and 51 by Hunter Thomas. Harvey scored two rushing touchdowns.

Harvey also caught two TD passes. Jake Wright was the tackle leader with 8.
